Women Who Drink Less Weigh Less
Wednesday, March 10th, 2010Drinking alcohol and booze has often been associated with weight gain. However as far as women are concerned, it seems that drinking moderately may help a lot, especially if they are in their middle years.
Researchers from Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston found that women who had one or two drinks daily gained less weight in mid-life than abstainers. Based on the research as well, 30% of women were less likely to be overweight or obese. At least this means women don’t have to refrain from drinking. As always, drink moderately!
